I still can’t believe it's been 18 years of team trips with these incredible folks in Africa. And here I am, gearing up for my 14th year leading annual adventures, this year leading two trips. Each trip is a unique journey, brimming with opportunities to bring hope, embrace challenges, and grow – all while sharing the bold love of Jesus. It's a life-changing experience that leaves its mark on both us and those we connect with.
I'm truly looking forward to what God has in store for us this time around. The anticipation is real, and I can't wait to see how His plans unfolds. We have some projects we would love to participate in that extend beyond what a base trip cost covers, especially the medical camp expenses.
Maddy Fast | Co-Leader
Hi. I’m Maddy. I am really excited to be heading back to Tanzania. I’ve been back a few times since attending a discipleship school there in 2012, but each time I grow even closer to the people that I’ve come to love and know deeply.
This year I have the opportunity of co-leading the team. I am really looking forward to introducing the team to the land and the people I love.
We have many project areas we will be serving in, a food program for the Maasai, holding a medical clinic for a remote tribe, and many others. If you would like to donate to one of these I would greatly appreciate it.

Carol Hagen | Team Member
Hello. My name is Carol Hagen and I am excited to go to Tanzania. One reason is I want to get over my insecurities and to be bold in sharing God’s love with others. I also hope to encourage the Tanzanian people to put their trust in God with any of their needs.

I had the privilege of joining the first CTK Mission Trip in 2007, and again in 2009. They were life changing experiences. It has been 15 years since I have been to Tanzania but my love for the people and the relationships I have made there have continued.
I look forward to reuniting with friends and seeing the different ways God has blessed them. Most of all I pray that God will change my heart through this experience and give me eyes to see others as He sees them. I have some dry bones that need to be awakened so I’m laying before God and trusting him for a miracle.
Christie Jensen | Team Member
Hi. My name is /Christie and I am excited to be joining Pamoja Love on the mission trip to Tanzania this MAy. I look forward to sharing God’s love through service, community, and learning more about their world and culture. It has been a dream of mine to join a mission trip and I feel God calling me to not only help others but to learn more about myself and other people and cultures he has created. I hope to share with the people of Tanzania my love for Christ and bering back new views and perspectives to our corner of the world.
We have many project areas we will be serving in: offering support to a community grieving many of their leaders in a devastating accident, a food program for the Maasai, holding a medical clinic for a remote tribe, and other projects that God lads us to. If you would like to directly donate to any of these projects it would be greatly appreciated and all monies will go directly to the projects.

Medical Camps
This is what championing hope and love looks like: hearing about, providing for, going, seeing, reaching out, meeting the needs and sharing love. These remote villages take hours and hours of driving time to reach, they are far from medical facilities. The clinics see to all kinds of medical needs. For more info on Jigger Clinics : click here
Will you help? This truly takes a global village.
The Pokot
The Pokot are an unreached people group in Western Kenya. They live in a remote area that is very dry and rocky with limited options. With our local partners’ help, they are learning new ways to help provide for their families. Currently, medical care and food are some of their biggest challenges. Our team will have the opportunity to meet these beautiful people, we would love to take them a heaping bundle of love sent from our friends back at home.

Dream Team Member: Lois. | Widow’s Homes
“There was a day she (Lois) was called to go, to see, to experience and to do. She was headed to Tanzania with a team from the Pacific Northwest. They would be spending two plus weeks in this beautiful land brimming with opportunity to love and serve, working with local partners, reaching out to those who were experiencing deep pain and hardship. Lois understood pain and hardship, she was a widow. She had experienced the pain of loss and she had much love to offer.”
…
“A little over ten years later Lois would hear of another heartbreaking story of a widow from her friends, the local leaders that she had worked with earlier in Tanzania. They shared the following: “She is called Ruth, her husband died 5 years ago, when…”. A home that was crumbling, a woman who was trying to hold it together. What did Lois do? She built a home for Ruth, and she is eager to do more, the home is still in need of furnishings and a concrete floor (to eliminate the concern of jigger infestation).
…
Lois is an inspiration, she is committed to reaching out with hope by spreading awareness and by providing tangible needs. She understands that love looks like something, and she wants to see it on the move. Will you join her?
