Kimber Ryan | Executive Director + Founder
I love being on the ground level with people, helping them dig into the deeper parts of their story, fostering more meaningful connections both with people and with Jesus. It's a beautiful piece of my role in this nonprofit, leading teams, sharing stories, encouraging involvement, and working closely with our local partners in Africa. And of course, wrapping my arms around those we come alongside is at the top.
I've discovered that when we step outside of our comfort zones, embracing a little discomfort, the beauty of vulnerability emerges, creating a glorious space for authentic relationships to build, for people to grow, and for hope to rise. It's a gift, and I am profoundly grateful.

I’ve been walking alongside our Kenyan and Tanzanian partners since I was 14, growing up in close relationship with the communities Pamoja Love serves. Having spent time doing life with these leaders, and living in Tanzania for six months, I’ve seen firsthand their heart to care for children and families. Helping make education and support possible for them is something I deeply value.

My heart has been pulled to Kenya and Tanzania because of the relationships I’ve seen built over the many years. These aren't just connections formed during travels, they have transformed the way I see faith, service, and what it means to follow Jesus.
As a Dream Team Coordinator, my greatest joy is witnessing people fall in love with new cultures, with the people they meet, and with what it looks like to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a real, tangible way. There's something sacred about that moment when someone steps outside their comfort zone and discovers that love transcends language and geography.
To me it's all about the transformation that happens when we stop being spectators to others' stories and become part of their journey. It's in that space of shared humanity, of walking alongside people and truly seeing them, that lasting change takes root, in their lives and in ours.
I believe that relationships change everything. And I get the privilege of opening doors so others can experience that too.
